The hardest part of sourcing corporate gifts in Singapore is not choosing the item. It is choosing an item that survives the approval process, arrives on schedule, and still means something to the person who receives it.

If you have run corporate gifting for an enterprise or a public sector institution, you already know the workflow. You scope the requirement, gather quotes, clear the approvals, confirm the artwork, and coordinate the drop off. It is a disciplined process, and the items you choose are chosen for good reasons. Branded notebooks, umbrellas, travel adapters and metal pens are dependable, easy to price, and simple to store.

The problem is not the process. The problem is that everyone else is running the same one.

1

The Problem

Staple saturation in Singapore offices

Walk through a department in Tanjong Pagar or Raffles Place and the evidence is under the desks. Branded canvas bags, still folded. Travel adapters in a drawer beside two others exactly like them. A cup of identical metal pens nobody is reaching for.

This is staple saturation. Not a failure of taste or of budget, but simple arithmetic. Your recipients attend several seminars a year, each one sourced by a capable procurement team applying the same sensible logic you do. The item is good. The recipient already owns four of them.

A gift that is never used is not a cheap gift. It is a gift with no cost per impression at all.

Where the unit price maths quietly breaks

On a purchase order, a low unit price always looks like the responsible decision, and often it is. But the number that matters to your organisation is not what the item cost. It is what the item achieved. A three dollar keychain that goes home in a pocket is excellent value. The same keychain left on a conference chair is three dollars spent on nothing, multiplied by your headcount. It is a line your finance team can see.

This is why the conversation around corporate gifts in Singapore has moved. Not towards novelty, and not towards anything quirky. Towards items with a higher certainty of being used.

2

The Shift

Why a dessert box lands differently

A dessert box is not a trend item. It is one of the oldest gestures in business, which is precisely why it works. Food is a social object. It gets opened at the desk, shown to the person sitting opposite, and shared. The gift is used within the hour, and the association it leaves is with a good afternoon rather than with a drawer.

It also removes a problem you never quite solve with merchandise: storage. Nobody has to find space for it, carry it home, or quietly decide what to do with it. The box is opened, enjoyed, and gone. The goodwill is the only thing that stays.

✦ The Freshness Question, Answered Honestly

Our boxes are baked on the day itself with fresh ingredients (dairy, egg, and fruit) and are at their best eaten that same day. Keep them refrigerated between 0°C and 4°C, do not leave them out for more than two hours, and never leave them in a hot car. Plan the box as a same-day gesture and it will be flawless. Plan it as something that waits in a store cupboard until Thursday and it will not.

3

The Options

Two boxes, two price points

Large orders need clear options, not a catalogue to wade through. Our Dessert Boxes collection holds two, which map onto the standard and VIP split you already use for physical gifts. The tiering logic stays familiar. Only the product changes.

Box Price Best For
Dessert Box (Petite) $50.90 SGD Individual milestones, a small departmental thank you, a desk drop for a hybrid team member.
Dessert Box (Grand) $80.00 SGD Client appreciation, board meetings, anything meant to be opened in front of other people.

Both are assortments of the classics we are known for. If you would rather not accept a fixed line-up, our Tart Gift Box and Petite Cake Gift Box let you curate your own set of eight favourite flavours. For a room where tastes vary, that flexibility is worth more than it sounds.

The Numbers

What your finance team will ask

Two things tend to decide whether a gifting line clears approval quickly: whether the price on the page is the price on the invoice, and whether anyone can explain the delivery cost without a phone call. Both are simple here.

Pâtisserie CLÉ is not a GST registered company, so there is no GST added to our prices. What you see is what your department pays, which makes the budget line unusually easy to write. Delivery is $15 per location, and it is free to one location on orders above $150. If you are sending a single consignment to one office, that threshold is easy to clear.

✦ One Cost Worth Planning Around

If nobody is available to receive the delivery, a further $15 redelivery charge applies. Buildings with strict lobby security are the usual culprit, so name a specific recipient at a specific desk rather than a general reception, and tell them it is coming.

5

Timing

Lead times and the delivery window

Orders are placed at least 48 hours ahead. Same day is not something our booking system supports, though if a date is genuinely urgent it is worth a message to +65 8127 3925 before you assume the answer is no. If you need to amend a detail after ordering, allow three days lead time so the kitchen can absorb the change. Once payment is processed, orders cannot be refunded or cancelled, so confirm your headcount before you check out rather than after.

The constraint most event planners need to know about early is timing within the day. We do not currently take specific time slot requests. For a scheduled event where the box has to be on the table at three o'clock, the reliable move is to select self pick-up and put your own courier on the leg you control. For a general office drop off, this does not arise.

✦ Check the Address Before You Book the Venue

There are locations we are not able to deliver to, and several are places corporate events actually happen: Marina Bay Sands, Alps Avenue, Airport Cargo Road, Airline Road, Seletar Aerospace, and the Tuas, Gul and Benoi sectors, among others. If your venue or your recipient sits in one of these, self pick-up is the way through. The full list is on our FAQ page, and it is worth two minutes before anything is confirmed.

The Process

Four steps from brief to delivery

  • Pick your box and your count Petite at $50.90 or Grand at $80.00, priced openly, no GST on top. You can cost the line before you speak to anyone.
  • Confirm the address is serviceable Two minutes on the FAQ exclusion list now saves a rerouting conversation later.
  • Order at least 48 hours ahead Add any message under Notes at checkout. Amendments need three days, and payment is final once processed.
  • Baked on the day, delivered on the day Your boxes are baked the same day they reach your recipients. Brief them to enjoy it that afternoon.
