Galette Des Rois- King's Cake

The Galette des Rois is a traditional French pastry typically enjoyed during Epiphany celebrations in January, featuring a golden, flaky puff pastry filled with almond cream, or frangipane.
Hidden inside the pastry is a fève, a small figurine or bean, which is traditionally placed as part of the celebration—whoever finds it in their slice is crowned king or queen for the day! 
Please be careful, as the fève hidden in the galette is inedible and should not be consumed.
