Christmas gift list with every name crossed off but one, surrounded by wrapped gifts, a box of festive pastries and iced coffee on a linen table

You have a list, a budget and about an hour. That's enough, if you know where to look.

Mum. Your manager. The friend hosting Christmas lunch. The colleague who drew your name in Secret Santa. Your teenage nephew. Each needs something different, and every gift guide you open seems to add fifty more options. The worry usually isn't the money. It's spending it on something that ends up at the back of a cupboard.

So we've done the narrowing for you. The best Christmas gift ideas 2026 has to offer have one thing in common. People enjoy them, use them or go out and do them. Nobody has to find shelf space for them. We're a pâtisserie, so yes, we'll point you to a few of our own Christmas pieces. But not everyone on your list should get cake. For each person, you'll also find non-food ideas that are easy to buy in Singapore.

Start with the quick-pick table, then skip to whatever you need: gifts by person, gifts by price, a simple pairing guide, the numbers for corporate orders, and the dates that matter for delivery in Singapore.

The thinking behind the list

Why Experiences and Shared Treats Win This Year

Think about the presents that get forgotten: the novelty mug, the desk gadget, the candle in a scent nobody chose. Most adults already own enough things. What they rarely get is a free evening, a new experience, or a dinner that feels like an occasion.

So the safest gifts fall into three groups: something to share, something to do, or something they'll actually use. Food is the easiest of the three. Picture your parents warming a Truffle Camembert Brioche Wreath and calling everyone to the table. Half of dinner is sorted, and nobody had to cook.

Nobody has ever had to find shelf space for a log cake.

Food is also the low-risk choice when you're buying for a lot of people. There are no sizes to get wrong and no chance they already own it. Our Christmas cakes, pastries and savouries are made fresh to order in Singapore, the week you need them. For everyone else, a good experience or a practical gift does the same job.

03

Match the gift to the person

Christmas Gifts by Recipient

Each person gets our pick from the CLÉ collection, plus non-food ideas for when cake isn't the right call. Prices for non-CLÉ ideas are typical Singapore retail ranges, so expect some variation by brand.

For the host: don't arrive empty-handed

christmas gift ideas for the host: Elegant Coupe Glasses and Embossed Purple Candle

A bottle of wine is fine, but it usually joins the pile by the door. The best host gifts are things they can serve that night or eat for breakfast the next morning. The 9-inch Hazelnut Praline Log Cake feeds eight to ten, which takes dessert off the host's list entirely. If the table leans savoury, the Cheese & Charcuterie Gift Platter needs nothing more than 20 to 30 minutes out of the fridge before it goes on the table.

✦ Beyond the bakery
  • A candle or reed diffuser from a local maker · $30 to $60
Look for Singapore-made brands at Design Orchard on Orchard Road. Go for something light and fresh. Heavy scents are a gamble.
  • A pair of good wine or coupe glasses · $25 to $60
They'll get used the moment the bottles come out, and every Christmas after.

For parents and in-laws: easy wins

Parents often say they don't want anything. What they mean is they don't want more stuff. Something the whole family can eat together goes down much better. The Truffle Camembert Wreath reheats in 5 to 10 minutes at 160 to 170°C. The Creamy Chicken Pie takes care of one holiday dinner completely. Both feed six to eight.

✦ Beyond the bakery
  • Supermarket or mall vouchers · Any amount
FairPrice vouchers or CapitaVouchers sound unromantic, but plenty of parents would honestly rather have them.
  • A massager for the neck, shoulders or legs · $30 to $150
Especially welcome if they're still on their feet all day.
  • A printed photobook of the family's year · $30 to $80
Easy to make online, and it never gets regifted.

For your partner: something to share

The Pistachio Chocolate Christmas Cake has dark chocolate mousse, pistachio chiffon sponge and a crunchy pistachio base. The 6-inch size feeds four to six, which suits a quiet celebration at home. Add the Collery Grand Cru if you're making a night of it.

✦ Beyond the bakery
  • A couples' workshop: pottery, perfume or candle making · $60 to $150 per person
A date and a gift in one. Book it for January, when everyone's calendar clears.
  • A silk eye mask or silk pillowcase · $20 to $50
Local sleep brands like Woosa make good ones, and silk stays cool on humid Singapore nights.
  • Engravable jewellery · From around $40
Several Singapore jewellers will engrave a date or initials for you.

For him: dad, brother, husband

Ask most men what they want and you'll get "nothing, really". Food and drink get around that. The Cheese & Charcuterie Gift Box & Champagne Pairing pairs three French cheeses and three cured meats with a bottle of Collery Brut Grand Cru, and it rarely makes it past the first evening. For a dad who'd rather have a proper meal, the Creamy Chicken Pie feeds the whole family. On a tighter budget, the Cheese & Charcuterie Gift Platter on its own is $95.

✦ Beyond the bakery
  • Personalised leather wallet or card holder · $60 to $150
Singapore brands like Bynd Artisan can add initials, which makes a simple wallet feel personal.
  • A grooming or shaving kit · $40 to $120
Better than what he'd buy for himself. Department stores and Sephora stock good men's sets in December.
  • An activity class: fishing, kayaking or eFoil · $80 to $220
For the one who'd rather do something than own something. Experience sites sell vouchers he can book when it suits him.
  • A home soda maker · $150 to $200
For the household that gets through sparkling water by the carton.

For the boss or VIP client: generous, never overstepping

With a boss or a client, you want generous but not personal. The Christmas Gift Box & Champagne Pairing sits right in that spot: nine festive pastries with a bottle of Champagne Collery Brut Grand Cru from Aÿ. It looks good on a desk or in reception, and it's easy to share with a team.

✦ Beyond the bakery
  • Personalised leather or stationery · From around $60
Singapore brands like Bynd Artisan offer gift sets with monogramming. Ask about engraving lead times in December.
  • A premium coffee or tea gift set · $30 to $80
Works for almost any diet, and it gets used at the desk every day.

For the person who has everything

They buy what they want the moment they want it, so your best bet is something they wouldn't think to look for. The Champagne Collery Grand Cru is one option: aged four years on lees, with notes of pastry, mandarin and stone fruit, and named Master at the Champagne Masters 2024. If they're more of a food person, the truffle Camembert wreath is the gift they'll still be talking about at New Year.

✦ Beyond the bakery
  • An experience they'd never book for themselves · $50 to $300
Mangrove kayaking off Pulau Ubin, a bonsai class or a watchmaking workshop. Sites like Klook and SeekSophie sell experience vouchers.
  • A class to learn a new skill · $100 to $300
Barista basics, silversmithing or woodworking. They'll remember it long after a gadget would be forgotten.

For teens and the gamer in the family

This is the one group where we'd skip the cake as the main gift. Teens know exactly what they want, and it usually lives on a screen. If they live with family, a log cake for the household still means they get a slice of Christmas.

✦ Our picks
  • A digital gift card · $20 to $100
Steam, PlayStation, Nintendo eShop, Apple or Google Play. Check which platform they use first.
  • Wireless earbuds · $40 to $150
A mid-range pair from a major brand is a real upgrade on whatever came with their phone.
  • A film or instant camera · $30 to $120
Still a hit with teens, and perfect for holiday photos.

For kids

✦ Our picks
  • A LEGO or building set · $20 to $80
Match it to whatever they're obsessed with right now. The age guide on the box is reliable.
  • A kids' workshop · From around $40
Clay, art jams or terrarium making. Many Singapore studios run kids' sessions during the school holidays.
  • Books · $10 to $30 each
Kinokuniya is the easy one-stop shop if you don't know what they've read.

For the year-end traveller

December is peak travel season in Singapore, and plenty of people on your list will be heading somewhere cold. A gift that helps on that trip gets used straight away.

✦ Our picks
  • A thermal base layer for the trip · From around $20
Uniqlo HEATTECH and similar ranges suit Singaporeans who only need winter wear once a year.
  • Compression packing cubes · $30 to $50
Every frequent traveller ends up wanting a set.
  • A universal travel adaptor · $15 to $30
Cheap, small, and it'll last for years.
  • A Klook voucher · Any amount
They can put it towards tours, rail passes or airport transfers.

For colleagues, Secret Santa and stocking fillers

Rather than buying six small gifts, send one Christmas Gift Box to the office. Nine different pastries means everyone gets a choice, and the box is a fixed set, so there's nothing to customise. For a bigger team, see the bulk discounts in section 06. If your office does Secret Santa with a fixed budget, these work for almost anyone:

✦ Under $30
  • A portable neck fan · $15 to $25
In Singapore's heat, this might be the most useful gift on the list.
  • A premium tea sampler · $15 to $25
Tea brands like T2 sell small multi-flavour gift packs.
  • A satin pillowcase · $15 to $25
Feels like a small luxury, and it's easy to wrap.
  • A good desk lamp or phone stand · $20 to $30
For the colleague who's still working from home a few days a week.

For gifts that look thought-through

Pairing, Made Simple

Food and champagne make a lovely gift together, as long as they actually go together. You don't need to be a sommelier. Three rules cover almost everything.

Rule 1: Bubbles love salt and richness

Champagne's acidity and fizz cut through fat. That's why the Collery Brut Grand Cru works so well with the cheese and charcuterie platter and the truffle Camembert wreath: each sip resets the palate for the next bite of creamy cheese or cured ham.

Rule 2: With sweet things, keep the drink brighter than the dessert

A dry Brut sits well next to fruit-led pastries like the Raspberry Lemon Bauble or the Pear Tatin in the Christmas Gift Box, where its citrus notes pick up the fruit. With a very rich chocolate cake, a dry champagne can taste sharp. A good coffee or black tea is the better match there.

Rule 3: When in doubt, pick a bundle

If decision fatigue is setting in, skip the rules. Each of our three champagne bundles pairs one of our Christmas pieces with the Collery Brut Grand Cru, so the matching is already done.

If you're gifting Pour alongside Why it works
Cheese & Charcuterie Platter Collery Brut Grand Cru Acidity and bubbles cut through rich cheese and cured meats
Truffle Camembert Wreath Collery Brut Grand Cru Bubbles lift the melted Camembert and truffle honey
Christmas Gift Box Collery Brut Grand Cru, or tea Citrus notes suit the fruit-led pastries
Pistachio Chocolate Cake Coffee or black tea Rich chocolate wants something with warmth and bitterness
Hazelnut Praline Log Cake Coffee, or the Brut after dinner Nutty praline loves roasted coffee notes

Sending gifts to twenty or fifty clients usually means long email threads, a spreadsheet and days waiting for a quote. Here, you can skip all of that. The whole order can be placed online, and the bulk discount is applied automatically at checkout once your Christmas order reaches each tier. Order in November and the early bird 10% applies on top.

Bulk discounts apply to the Christmas collection only and exclude delivery fees, champagne and champagne pairings. The early bird discount stacks with the bulk discount, but not with bundle prices. If you're gifting at volume, build the order around the Christmas Gift Box, cakes, platters and savouries, and add champagne for your top-tier clients only.

  • 1. Sort your list into tiers For example, VIP clients get a champagne bundle, key partners get the Christmas Gift Box, and internal teams get a shared platter or log cake.
  • 2. Group by delivery address Each additional delivery location is $15. Gifts going to the same office can go together.
  • 3. Order early Order in November to get the early bird 10% on top of your bulk discount, and your pick of dates. Our usual lead time is 2 days, but Christmas orders fill our daily capacity fast, so we recommend 3 to 5 days ahead of your delivery date, especially for 20 to 25 December.
  • 4. Place it as one order Build the whole list in a single cart. The bulk discount for your tier is applied automatically at checkout, with no code or quote needed.

Keep it looking the way it left our kitchen

Fresh pastry in a tropical climate comes with one rule: keep it cold. Cakes and pastries should go straight into the fridge at 0 to 4°C and shouldn't be left out for more than two hours. Never leave the box in a hot car while you run other errands. Take cakes out 20 to 30 minutes before serving, and enjoy them within two to three days.

✦ If you're gifting in person

Arrange delivery or collection for the day you'll hand the gift over, and pass the storage note on to whoever receives it. A good gift can be ruined by an afternoon on the kitchen counter.

The questions we hear most

Quick Answers

What are the best Christmas gift ideas for 2026?

The safest gifts are things people share, do or use: a centrepiece cake or sharing dish for families and hosts, an experience voucher for the person who has everything, a digital gift card for teens, and something practical like packing cubes for the year-end traveller. Save the champagne pairings for your most important recipients.

What's a good Christmas gift under $100 in Singapore?

The Christmas Gift Box ($98), Cheese & Charcuterie Gift Platter ($95), Truffle Camembert Wreath ($68) and the 4.5-inch Hazelnut Praline Log Cake ($60) all come in under $100. Outside of food, a couples' workshop, wireless earbuds or a good massager all fit the same budget.

When should I order Christmas gifts for delivery in Singapore?

Order in November if you can. You'll get 10% off Christmas items and a better choice of dates. Our usual lead time is 2 days, but Christmas orders fill our daily capacity quickly, so we recommend ordering 3 to 5 days before your delivery date, especially for 20 to 25 December.

Is food a good corporate Christmas gift?

For most recipients, yes. It can be shared with a team and doesn't leave clutter on anyone's desk. Check dietary needs first: the platter contains pork and the champagne bundles contain alcohol, so they won't suit everyone. Larger Christmas orders get 12 to 18% off automatically at checkout, excluding champagne, champagne pairings and delivery fees. Order in November and the early bird 10% applies too.

What's a good Secret Santa gift under $30 in Singapore?

A portable neck fan, a tea sampler, a satin pillowcase, a universal travel adaptor or a small digital gift card. All are useful, easy to buy, and work for almost anyone.

How long do the cakes and pastries keep?

Refrigerate them as soon as they arrive. Most are best within two to three days, and the Christmas Gift Box pastries taste best fresh. Take them out 15 to 30 minutes before serving.
